Welcome to 2020 Travel Baseball Registration. All registrations will be taken online starting January 5th, 2020 and continue through February 2nd, 2020!
Registration Fee for 2020 is $340 (this includes a non-refundable $40 admin fee once a player participates in try-outs.)
Late Fee - $75 per player starting Feb. 5th, 2020- No Exceptions
* Special Note – There is a $20 cancellation fee if player withdraws their registration prior to Tryouts for ANY reason.
FTBA follows the guidelines of the Metro Baseball League, which has established a date of birth cutoff date of May 1st for each age bracket. In some cases this may not allow a player to try out for a team composed of the kids that are in his grade at school. Each player can choose to try out for an older age group if they so desire; however, players who are not selected for a roster spot within the age group they are trying out for will not be given the opportunity to drop back to the group mandated by the Metro Baseball League after the team selections have been made. No exceptions or special consideration will be extended to athletes who have been rostered in past seasons, nor will the coaching staffs be responsible for encouraging a particular player to try out for a particular group. All such requests to play up a level need to be approved prior to signing up by the Travel Director.
Players in their respective age groups must not reach the next age before May 1st, 2020. Due to the lack of field availability and the growing number of younger registrants, FTBA instituted a minimum age requirement for all players.
Any player born after August 31, 2011 will not be able to register and tryout in 2020.
The following are the MBL age requirements by team:
9 year-olds: Born between May 1, 2010 – August 31, 2011
10 year-olds: Born between May 1, 2009 – April 30, 2010
11 year-olds: Born between May 1, 2008 – April 30, 2009
12 year-olds: Born between May 1, 2007 – April 30, 2008
13 year-olds: Born between May 1, 2006 – April 30, 2007
14 year-olds: Born between May 1, 2005 – April 30, 2006
15 year-olds: Born between May 1, 2004– April 30, 2005
Bat restrictions: 9U-14U: All bats must have the new USA stamp (unless using a -3 BBCOR bat). 15’s can use a BBCOR bat or wood bat.
9-U, 10-U, 11-U,
Bats must be 2 1/4" with unlimited weight differential or bats 2 5/8" and have a -11 differential or less (i.e. 31” – 20.0 oz.)
Bats must be 2 5/8" with a -5 or less differential
15-U -BBCOR only
Bats must be 2 5/8” with a -3 or less differential

**Important Note **
A bat with the USA Stamp or BBCOR Stamp is required for tryouts. BBCOR are only a -3 and required for 15U. Bats without these stamps will not be allowed.
Uniform fitting and purchase will be on Wednesday, February 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The mandatory parent meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5.
